【 Notice of the consumption tax hike 】
Thank you for shopping at Metamorphose.
Due to the consumption tax hike to 10% in Japan, the consumption tax on the purchase at Metamorphose stores and online shop (domestic delivery) including pre-order or layaway order will be 10% on or after October 1st 2019.
* The consumption tax will be charged only on the orders placed at stores in Japan or shipped to the address in Japan domestically.
The pre-order and layaway order placed at Metamorphose brick-and-mortar stores by September 30th
< When you made a full payment by September 30th >
The consumption tax will remain 8% even you receive the products on or after October 1st.
< When you leave a deposit >
If you receive the products on or after October 1st, the consumption tax will be 10%.
* Please note that the tax amount will be changed from the amount on your order sheet.
★ We recommend you to make the final payment by September 30th, before the consumption tax hike.
Online Shop (Official Online Shop, Rakuten)
< When you made a full payment by September 30th >
The consumption tax will remain 8% even you receive the products on or after October 1st.
< When you place an order by 11:00 a.m. (JST) on October 1st and make a payment on or after that time >
•In case of a layaway order, COD (cash on delivery) or postal transfer
The consumption tax will be 10%.
* The consumption tax on deposit for a layaway will also be 10%.
< When you make a payment at a convenient store >
The consumption tax will remain 8% until the due date of the payment number.
* If there is some problems individually, we will contact you via e-mail.
< Shipping Cost >
The domstic shipping cost will be changed with the consumption tax hike.
• Before the change
Honshu (the main island): 864 yen
Hokkaido: 1,720 yen
Okinawa: 2,160 yen
* Free shipping with purchase of 32,400 yen (incl. tax) or more.
• After the change
Honshu: 880 yen
Hokkaido: 1,815 yen
Okinawa: 2,200 yen
* Free shipping with purchase of 33,000 yen (incl. tax) or more.
