Japan Post recently announced that it has resumed accepting mail items addressed to the United States.

According to their notice, if customs duties and related fees are paid to U.S. Customs in advance, they will accept all U.S.-bound mail at designated post offices. However, after carefully reviewing the procedures required by Japan Post, we have concluded that it is difficult for our company to implement the necessary steps.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but shipments to the United States will continue to be sent exclusively via DHL.

*Please note that DHL cannot deliver to P.O. Box addresses. For U.S. orders, kindly provide a physical (non–P.O. Box) address.

If Japan Post updates its procedures in the future—such as allowing shipments to the United States without requiring advance payment of customs duties—we will reconsider resuming EMS shipments.
